There are proposed two ways of forming an anion deficient phases based on ferroelectric BaTiO3: a) the mixed method, including solid-phase synthesis of BaTiO3 and «chemical assembly» of BaFeO3-x; b) volume low-temperature « chemical assembly» of the BaTi1-yFeyO3-0,5y phases. The possibility of synthesis an amorphous form of BaFeO3-x phase and a solid solution of y BaTiO3•(1-y)BaFeO3-x, at temperatures below 400K are demonstrated, also synthesis of their crystalline forms as ultrafine powders - at temperatures below 600K. Under the first method of the synthesis of solid solutions of the type BaTi1-y FeyO3-0,5y the conditions of introduction the amorphous phase barium ferrite particles in a crystal of barium titanate are determined. It is shown that within the concentration of the dopants in BaTiO3, no change occurs in crystal system, as well as a considerable variation of ferroelectric tetragonal unit cell and its Curie temperature not occurs. In the process of making ceramic samples there is revealed the effect of additives BaFeO3-x on the parameters of the powders sintering BaTi1-yFeyO3-0,5y (0 ≤ y ≤ 0,05), which were obtained by different methods. These methods are to reduce the activation energy of the process, increasing the speed of grain growth and the secondary recrystallization rate. There were discussed changing the electrical parameters of piezoelectric ceramics made with increasing mole fraction of additive in the system.
