SYNTHESIS AND ANALYSIS OF HYBRID C-AU-AG NANOPARTICLES

The hybrid nanoparticles C-Au-Ag were synthesized by the method of laser deposition from the liquid phase. The starting material for the synthesis was heterometallic complex [Au12Ag12(C2Ph)18Br3(PPh2(C6H4)3PPh2)3](PF6)3. The physical and chemical properties of the hybrid nanostructures were investigated. The effect of laser radiation exposure time on the size of the formed particles was studied. It was found that increasing the laser radiation exposure time leads to the formation of a dense packing of hybrid nanostructured materials. At the same time there is no significant effect on the size of the formed particles. From the SEM images analysis the distribution of the synthesized nanoparticles size was obtained. The average size of nanoparticles was found to be D = (22 ± 4) nm. Based on the EDX- spectra it was shown that the deposited structures were composed of heterometallic Au-Ag nanoparticles encapsulated in carbon matrix. We measured the absorption spectra of hybrid nanostructured materials with different laser radiation exposure time. The broad band corresponding to the light absorption by nanoparticles was found in the spectra. The dependence of the position of the plasmon resonance of hybrid nanostructured materials from the time of irradiation in the synthesis was found.
